(Al Bireh-28/3/2012): In cooperation with the ICRC, PRCS distributed food packages to families in Bedouin communities threatened with land confiscations and set to be transferred from the Red Khan area in Jerusalem Governorate.
This aid was provided following a survey and assessment process by a PRCS’ Disaster Management Team in five Bedouin communities comprising around 250 families (a total of 1500 persons).
PRCS had implemented a number of activities in these communities during this past month, including a recreational activity targeting children from the school located in Abou Dahouk community. Medical and health services were also provided through the Society’s mobile clinic.
