PRCS provides its services to Bedouin communities in the Al Khan Al Ahmar area (Jerusalem Governorate)

(Al Khan Al Ahmar– 22/01/2012): PRCS provided various services to Bedouins living in Bedouin communities who are to be transferred from the Red Khan area (Jerusalem Governorate) and whose homes are to be demolished.

PRCS team was accompanied by a modern medical clinic manned by a doctor, nurses, physiotherapists and speech therapists. They provided their services to tens of Palestinians in the Abou Dahook community as well as in other neighboring communities. The mobile clinic also attended to tens of children, elderly persons and women, offering guidance and advice to elderly persons suffering from chronic diseases including hypertension and diabetes and providing them with the necessary treatment.
 

Abou Khamis Al Jahaleen, a Bedouin community leader, praised services provided by PRCS to Palestinians in all areas. He valued this visit by PRCS in solidarity with Bedouin communities and called on all Palestinian institutions to provide support and help to Palestinians who are steadfast in those communities.
 

It is worth mentioning that The Israeli authority had sent tens of demolition and transfer notifications to five Bedouin communities in the Red Khan area (Jerusalem) where about 250 families (+1500 people) live.
