PRCS helps save the lives of 19 National Security members in Bethlehem

(Bethlehem, 10/10/2011): PRCS EMS team helped save the lives of 19 members of National Security Forces following an accident which took place during a training exercise held at the Presidential Landing Strip in the city.
Abdelhalim Jaafrah, Head of EMS at PRCS/Bethlehem, said that 14 of the injured were transported to Beit Jala public hospital while the remaining five were transported to The Arab Society hospital in Beit Jala. Three of them were seriously wounded and suffered from internal bleeding while all the others suffered mild to medium injuries.
According to Jaafrah, First Aid was provided and the injured were evacuated within 20 minutes of the accident. Seven PRCS ambulances and one Medical Services ambulance took part in the rescue efforts.
