PRCS distributes 287 food packages to the poor in the Northern West Bank

(Al-Bireh, 28-08-2011): With support from the Qatari Red Crescent Society, PRCS distributed 287 food packages to underprivileged families in the Northern West Bank. The packages, which contained around 17 staples, were distributed to families affected by the Wall of Separation as well as to families living under the line of poverty in Qabatia, Qalqilia and Al Sha’arawiya villages (Tulkarem Governorate).

This campaign is in line with PRCS’ strategy aimed at providing humanitarian services to Palestinians throughout the West Bank, including in Jerusalem, as well as in the Gaza Strip and the Diaspora. It also illustrates the close cooperation between the Palestinian and the Qatari Red Crescent Societies with a view to providing assistance and help to the Palestinian people.
