Accompanied by PRCS President Dr. Younis Al Khatib: The Secretary General of the Norwegian Red Cross visits PRCS/Jerusalem and Hebron
Jerusalem-Hebron: Mr. B?rge Brende, Secretary General of the Norwegian Red Cross Society, visited on the 13th of December 2009 PRCS facilities in both Hebron and Jerusalem. Mr. Brende, who was accompanied by PRCS President, Dr. Younis Al Khatib, toured PRCS hospital and EMS center in Jerusalem as well as the Motherhood and Children Clinic in Bab Al Zahira.
Dr. Al Khatib briefed the visiting delegation on programs and services provided by PRCS in Jerusalem as well as on the key obstacles it faces, especially when it comes to the free movement of PRCS ambulances throughout the West Bank including Jerusalem.
Dr. Al Khatib also accompanied the delegation on a visit to PRCS facilities in Hebron including PRCS new hospital, and Al Raja’a Rehabilitation Center.
Detailed information was provided on Israeli tight measures in the city and the harassment from which suffer Palestinians in Hebron particularly in the H2 area.
