The PRCS concludes two International Humanitarian Law (IHL) workshops in its Branch in Lebanon.

Each workshop lasted for two consecutive days, and included various IHL topics; most importantly: The fundamental principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, History and Evolution of the PRCS, its Social and Health services provided to the Palestinian people in the oPt and the Dispora, as well as the Emergence of and the services provided by the International committee of the Red Cross and the Lebanese Red Cross society.

The topics also covered the evolution and development of the IHL, ICRC' role in IHL, protection and respect of medical missions and the emblem of the Red cross and Red crescent, Law of belligerent occupation, Protected groups ie wounded, sick, Prisoners of war and civilians, in addition to the states responsibilities towards the violations of IHL.

It is worth mentioning that these two workshops are the first of its kind that the PRCS IHL unit is conducting outside the oPt, noting that this is the first step toward expanding the PRCS Dissemination and IHL program to include the PRCS branches in the Dispora in it.
