The Palestinian and Turkish Red Crescent Societies discuss means to enhance mutual cooperation
PRCS President Dr. Younis Al Khatib met on the 27th of October 2009 with the Secretary General of the Turkish Red Crescent Society. Both parties discussed means to further cooperation between the two Societies in the humanitarian and health fields.This meeting was held during a visit by a delegation chaired by the Secretary General of the Turkish Red Crescent Society to PRCS headquarters in Al Bireh on the sidelines of the 5th Partnership Meeting recently organized by PRCS. Dr. Al Khatib briefed the visiting delegation on the latest humanitarian developments in the Gaza Strip and on interventions by PRCS and its partners following the latest Israeli aggression. Both parties also discussed means to enhance cooperation to address the consequences of this aggression.
