Palestinian Red Crescent Society carries out a number of events & Joins the "Al-Quds: Capital of Arab Culture" 2009 march

Hebron- The PRCS Branch in Hebron arranged several activities and events on the 21st of March 2009 to celebrate Mother's Day. In this context, Mr. Samih Abu-Aisha, the Secretary General of PRCS and the PRCS Hebron Branch President, inaugurated the events and activities. He praised and congratulated the Palestinian mothers who have worked with PRCS and have been so dedicated over the past forty years. He also thanked the staff and volunteers of the Society for their endless efforts in accomplishing many social and cultural events, which have expressed the uniqueness and authenticity of the Palestinian people and PRCS.

The staff of PRCS’s Psychosocial Support Program along with volunteers from the PRCS Youth and Volunteers department in Hebron also handed out flowers and greeting cards to the mothers at the Hebron Hospital, the Al Ahli Hospital, the new PRCS hospital and the Al-Ehsan clinic.

That same day, PRCS Staff and Volunteers took part in the “Al-Quds: Capital of Arab Culture 2009” march, which set out from the Al-Hussein Bin-Ali School in Hebron.
