Ramallah, June 30, 2021- PRCS organized a visit to Beita, a town to the South of Nablus, for representatives from IFRC and the Danish, Italian, German, Swedish and Spanish Red Cross Societies. The visit aimed at getting a closer look at the situation in Beita and assessing the needs of its inhabitants.
In Beita, delegation members met with the Head of the PRCS branch, the town’s deputy mayor, and several doctors and paramedics. Discussions revolved around needs at the field hospital set up by PRCS following recent events as well as the possible creation of a permanent EMS center and a community service center.
A visit was then organized to the hilltop areas known as Jabal Sbeih and Jabal Al-Arma where clashes have erupted between Palestinians from the town and Israeli settlers.
