DG-ECHO Representative Visits PRCS

(Al Bireh - 16/6/2021):  PRCS received today two ambulances donated by the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG-ECHO). The ambulances were delivered to the National Society’s HQ in Al-Bireh in the presence of Lina Hassan, Technical Program Manager in the EU, Samar Baidas, PRCS Executive Director General, and several PRCS staff.

Together with a delegation from the Danish Red Cross, Ms. Hassan toured PRCS departments, Central Operations Room and warehouses. She met with PRCS President Dr. Al Khatib before heading to PRCS Field Hospital at the Al-Bireh Municipal Park.

Ms. Hassan also visited Karyout, a village to the South of Nablus, to get better acquainted with challenges faced by PRCS especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
