PRCS’ Teams Provide Emergency Medical Services to 112 Worshippers during Second Friday of Ramadan

(Jerusalem - 17/5/2019):  PRCS’ teams provided First Aid to 112 worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque during the second Friday of the month of Ramadan.

107 patients received emergency medical services at four field clinics set up by PRCS at Lion’s Gate and inside Al Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards. Patients treated suffered from sunstrokes, bruises and chronic diseases. Fourteen other patients were referred to Al Makassed hospital in Jerusalem for further treatment.

PRCS’ President Dr. Younis Al Khatib, its Director General Dr. Khaled Joudeh and the Head of the Society’s branch in Jerusalem Dr. Abdallah Sabri surveyed the work of the medical teams and volunteers around Al Aqsa Mosque and in the field clinics inside the yards of Al Aqsa.

PRCS had deployed more than 120 EMTs and volunteers in and around Al Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards to cater to the needs of worshippers from all over the West Bank.

Tens of volunteer EMTs were also deployed near checkpoints around Jerusalem where they provided medical services to worshippers on their way to Al Aqsa Mosque.
