PRCS’ Teams Provide First Aid to Worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem, May 25, 2018 – PRCS’ teams in Jerusalem provided First Aid to approximately 108 worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque on the second Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan. 100 patients were treated in the two field clinics set up by PRCS in and around the Mosque’s courtyards, while 8 others were referred to Jerusalem hospitals for further treatment.

Israeli occupation forces harassed PRCS’ EMTs and volunteers, checking their IDs, subjecting them to intense searches to ensure they are not carrying any medical items or supplies, including medical gloves, on them.

The Society’s branch in Jerusalem raised its readiness during the month of Ramadan with a view to providing optimal humanitarian and First Aid services to Muslim worshippers.
