PRCS Takes Part in the Special Olympics IX MENA Games in Abu Dhabi

PRCS athletes competed as part of the Palestinian Special Olympics Delegation at the Special Olympics IX MENA Games held in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates from 13 to 23 March 2018.

The Palestinian delegation comprised 34 athletes, coaches and Administrative Officials, including eight PRCS’ athletes, 2 coaches and one sports injuries’ specialist. Palestinian athletes took part in table tennis, bocce, badminton, swimming and field and track competitions, winning 27 medals (9 gold, 14 silver and 4 bronze).

PRCS’ athletes won 13 medals as follows: Bocce (2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze); table tennis (1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze); and badminton (1 silver and 2 bronze).
