PRCS’ Hospital in Jerusalem Achieves JCI Accreditation

(Jerusalem - 2/7/2017):  PRCS’ Hospital in Occupied Jerusalem was accredited for the second consecutive year by Joint Commission International in recognition of the high quality health and medical services it offers to patients.

JCI Accreditation is considered the gold standard in global health care. It is one of the most popular accreditations sought by health organizations worldwide. Hospitals applying for JCI Accreditation undergo a comprehensive series of tests to ensure they meet international standards and offer high quality and safe health and clinical care programs.

JCI hospital standards address care of patients, governance, leadership and direction, prevention and control of infections, ambulatory care, laboratories, management of communication and information, long-term care, Primary Health Care and medical transport. Moreover, JCI accredits six non-hospital programs in a number of health-related fields.
