A Senior Minister of State from Singapore Visits PRCS

 (Al-Bireh- 8/11/2016): Dr. Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited PRCS’ Headquarters today and was briefed about the Society’s services in Palestine and the Diaspora.

PRCS’ President Dr. Younis Al Khatib and Director General Dr. Khaled Joudeh accompanied their guest and his accompanying delegation as they toured the Society’s headquarters and described to them how the Society will develop its work to better serve Palestinians.

Dr. Al Khatib spoke about the Society’s services and programs in the fields of health, youth promotion, rehabilitation and capacity building as well as programs aimed at enhancing community participation. He underscored the importance of community work as a PRCS’ pillar that underpins the Society’s activities in the fields of psychological health, rehabilitation, youth promotion and community development. He hoped that this visit would be the first step towards enhancing cooperation between PRCS and Singaporean bodies.

The Singaporean guest expressed his satisfaction with this visit to PRCS, a National Society that serves Palestinians in Palestine and the Diaspora through its many programs and services. He said he shall discuss with officials in his country means to further cooperation with PRCS especially in the fields of water and education.
