PRCS Concludes an IHL Course at Al Istiqlal University

 (Jericho-20/10/2016): In cooperation with the Law Faculty at Al Istiqlal University, PRCS organized a 3-day course on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) with the participation of 20 students majoring in criminology and law.

The course discussed several topics including the history and development of IHL, the Code of Conduct for Combatants, the law of belligerent occupation, Prisoners of War and detainees, the Red cross/Crescent emblem, the protection of medical missions, international responsibility stemming from IHL violations, ICRC and the International Red Cross/Crescent Movement.

 This is one of a series of courses and educational workshops on IHL organized by PRCS in cooperation with a number of Civil Society Organizations.
