PRCS Concludes a First Aid Course for Volunteers in Qalqilia

 (Qalqilia - 22/9/2016): PRCS’ Qalqilia branch concluded a First Aid course which aimed at enabling new PRCS’ volunteers to deal with emergencies.

 21 hours of training were provided over four consecutive days by volunteer Abdallah Shreim. The course covered the basics and objectives of First Aid, paramedics, initial victim check, removing foreign objects from the respiratory tract, CPR, evacuation as well as dealing with wounds, bleeding, burns, poisoning and bone fractures.

19 volunteers took part in this course and passed the two related theoretical and practical tests. Each volunteer will be receiving a PRCS’ approved First Aid certificate.
