The camp is to cover several topics from both a theoretical and a practical point of view, including the provision of shelter, water, sanitation and health services in times of disaster. Held under the supervision of a specialized team comprising staff from the PRCS' Disaster Management Unit, operation coordinators and Heads of PRCS' Departments in the Gaza Strip, this camp is the second of its kind to be organized in the Gaza Strip. It aims at forming a qualified, specialized and efficient national team that is ready to respond to emergencies and capable of intervening in times of disaster in order to ensure the provision of the best health and humanitarian services to local communities.
